How to catch a wolf

How to catch a wolf

A Poem by gram linski
"

based on a prompt poem idea in the guardian, go on poets, have a go, how to catch a ... make it fantastic and impossible and possible haha

"
How to catch a wolf ...
-
you should become the geometry
of snow
-
and the shadow of night
and dark ancestral howls
-
     and burning poetry pyres
sending dead wordage home
-
feel the blood of Thor
boiling     and     bubbling
                           singing     screaming

invoke the mischief of Loki, ( my brother )
and diamond studded dragon scales

seek the patronage of Dianna
supplicate your self onto pine

floored forest, ( sadistic squirrels
watching ), ( waiting ) get baptised
                                 in the wild wild
                                          water wild

inhale rose petals          spoor         and
                                                          madness

exhale      wolf        sense         wolf        sight
                        wolf          s**t

scream st francis and the wolf
 into molten merging melting marzipan
 moons
into the bottom of your soul, in anger and fury,

expel the smell of dead animals through
        your fingertips
and the mirror of the soul

and finally ;

a horny she - wolf,

penned in and ready to be fucked,
    the sweet scent sweet
        spoiling
 the clouds

A pint of horny she - wolf musk,
( not needed, but tasty, haha, )

catching the wolf is the easy part,
catching the horny she - wolf,
                                     however,
well, that creates it's own problems
                                                           / solutions
you will need a horny (s)he wolf ...

I've had these in my reading library for a while, since I've been writing a book & not reviewing much. Finished with book now & I wanted to read all 3 of these in a row. The first thing is that I have a powerful urge to try your clever writing prompt, but now that I've read yours, I would feel hopelessly inadequate to the task! You really made this thing leap & howl & twinkle-toe thru the moonlight. I am in awe of all the details you bring to bear to paint this lively canvas. I was surprised but also very much enjoyed when your poem turned the corner into seeking she-wolf sexy vibes. Perfect place to take this! Damn! This is good! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
