How to catch a dragon

How to catch a dragon

A Poem by gram linski

Study        alchemy          astrology
           astronomy
for a thousand cycles

dance, naked - lost in faerie circles
dream pre - historic dinosaurs
into shining bird's eye
dance in fire and
                      burn, baby, burn,
be     come     in     pervious
     un     flammable     in
flappable

( converse with monsters and gods, on
the wrong side of the night, )

        find a hashisheen
            a berserker in waiting,
                and absynthe
                     and mescaline
                        and L.S.D.

and break on through to the
other side / ultra side /
   of blue grass, green sky
remember poetry and myth
call upon Sirius and Debussy
to soothe the savage heart,

if you worship,
     She will come.

Your other two pieces on this theme were hoppin' & poppin' from word-one. This one starts out a little slow, with slightly predictable dragon attributes but then your wildness catches fire & you start breathing hot originality that might singe the hair between my toes. This one ends on a note I've seen from you before . . . a cocky sentiment from an overconfident man, I might suggest . . . a dragon slayer who's convinced He Slays (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
