The pain of being a hero

Tell me what I want to hear
A hero who's heart is his Achilles' heal
Make me moved make me feel
Make it alive make it real

Hardship only for this ordeal
Caged emotions forced to conceal
What once was surreal
Becomes too real
Hero no more
A man that can feel
Disbanding the life he couldn't reveal

What happens after
He walks away
Pick the ordeal
Or turn your back
Each on has a dire impact

A city in need
And it's time to choose
If they win I lose
They're nice when you're needed
Then you're old news
Yeah I'm a hero
But I'm nothing to you
