Sleeplines

Sleeplines

A Poem by Gretchen Lee Bourquin

The sleeplines on your face

tell stories

of the dreams

you never share

and fade at dawn

before I can translate

I really enjoy short poems that get my mind spinning with possibilities. I rarely can remember my own dreams but will be looking for those sleeplines on others' faces now. Fascinating! Do tell me more about your thoughts behind this one. Sharon
