Consolation

Consolation

A Poem by Ironbutt
"

time..it waits for no man... it brings os many things..yet takes as well....

"
As the grey in my hair reinforces the fact I am getting older..
chores are done a little slower...
aches and pain at the end of a day..
there is only one consolation....
eases the frustration...
my friends are getting older too!
I would say I can remember when it was ......
ok..so I forgot what I was going to say..
probably not important anyways...
Cold weather creeps down in these bones..
not much spirit to go out rather stay at home..
see my friends are feeling the same way...
it's good some times that way..
No calls saying hey come over..
lets party till the night is over..
nope on the couch with the old remote...
and so it goes..
consolation
...eased the frustration...
we are all getting just a fade of grey.

So true. Sometimes, an all nighter is a good sleep. :)
