A Poem by Samuel Ferris
"

i wrote this after reading garcia lorcas early poems.

"
The utterance
of stolen breath
under the crystalline voice
of a rolling spring,
swirling pillars of mist
and song rise
unbroken by the call
and whistle
of the guard of the wind.

The Great upheaval,
the Shepherd's tone
lifting the infinite
in swirls of smoke
rolling from my
grandfathers tongue.

Spoiled and unclean
voice of a stolen breath.

While going through this..
I nostalgic pain grips me....
Your poems have the power to whisk the hidden emotions...
I like you and your poems
