Night out

Night out

A Poem by Samuel Ferris

The Taxi pulled up:
a night
of booze and laughter,
of slow sipping
whiskey and tunes, dancing
caught glancing at the smooth-skinned
girl in the red dress and heels, flowing
through the mass of body's
a frictionless slithering dance
sultry and practiced
masterfully, mysteriously prepared
with every flick of the iris,
a maneuver of manneristic
precision.

This piece seems to be in a hustle to glide through to find its rest in "precision" I would love to see this piece Samuel perfomed on stage to music.....African Drums....It would be interesting also to perform this piece in one long breath. Great write.

Seems like a commentary....
No juice in description.....
I expect more from you.....
Please convey.....some beautiful , pithy thoughts...
that lurk behind the neurons of your brain
It is good....
But I dont know...I expect more
