5 Haiku

5 Haiku

A Poem by Samuel Ferris

The blue mountain rising
out of the mists:
A jagged hard stone.

Red feathered bird
floating on the wind-
down the mountain.

Green-emerald sea
sparkling at midday:
the gulls have caught a crab.

Flashing neon lights
bouncing about the dance floor-
someone has lost a heel.

Bed of flowers sways
pollinating the warm breeze-
the honey bee returns.

I love HAIKU in series, this is not easy to do. You did it well, these attractive colors, imagination, in which the writer would see his world, elegantly painted.

This is a piece that surpasses me. I am assumed by images. I truly apppreciate these pices....for to me they reflect that true, honest and simple techninique of the Art..thanks

you are lucky.....
really a garden is there ....in your imagination....
from which you pick up images and drape
them in words....
only to charm...us....
and keep wondering....
