Lullaby #8

Lullaby #8

A Poem by I Cast a Shadow
"

This one is my favorite of the collection

"

Go to Sleep, my tired darling

He will offer you happy hands

Together you’ll go fly like starlings

O’er endless deserts’ glowing sands

Both in gowns made finest silk

Both shimm’ring ‘neath the azure moon

With stardust trails as thick as milk

Both shooting t’ward the tallest dune
