Loss of Innocence

Trauma poem

He touched my body 
Before he touched my soul 
Innocence lost to a bet between boys 
Saying no wasn't enough anymore 
The world no longer felt safe 
Getting in a guys car became an invitation in my pants 
A bet to take the new girls virginity 
Didn't just take her virginity 
It also took the gleam in her eye 
It took her trust from the men who deserved it
