Torment

Torment

A Poem by Han'ke
"

The death of a child.

"
His last wail, stifled by frothing sputum.
A body warm.
A lifeless husk.
His last wail, echoed by a mother's cry.
Tormented.

Author's Note

Han'ke
This one was particularly difficult, as it was the first time I met with Death. Please be gentle. Constructive commentary is appreciated.
