Staring back out the empty room

Into a solitude of mirrors reflecting in

X-rays to my heart reveal it’s broken

From the looks of what they can see

They tell me it’s been a few years,

Back when you and I were so real

The tides turned at our sinking sail

I never expected to feel like this after all

How can it be that one moment you’re so close?

You practically breathe into each other’s throats

And now, there’s nothing left at all

 

As much as I want to but the blame on you

I know deep down it’s not so true

Until the hazy lines part, this will all sink down through

I was the one that was so close to all your friends

Now I see her making her way in
