Its Not Just a Pen

This is a metaphoric poem about an author's mind compared to life.

Its Not Just a Pen

My pen is a waterfall,

My mind is the river,

My heart is the voice,

and the words splash around

Your pen is the world,

and you mind is the time.

Your heart is the one that shouts,

"Don't let time run out!"

Our pen is a story untold.

Our hearts being traits.

The words never stop.

Every pen has ink.

Every mind has ideas.

Every heart...

Writes out life.
