Four Senses

Four Senses

A Poem by Mir

I didn't think it was possible
to fall anymore.
But you proved me wrong
because I'm falling harder and harder
and my balance is becoming poor.

My vision is selective.
Lately I'm only seeing you.
and those gorgeous brown eyes,
even though they're not blue,
Are deeper than the skies.
And something I can't help but look into.

I might be going deaf.
I can't hear anything
but your voice.
Your word's are like a song
and I'm without a choice.

My body is numb.
Except for when you touch.
Your fingers are like magic,
sending tingles down my spine.
Leaving me to wonder
if I'm ever on your mind.

My taste is still in tack,
because your lips I've yet to kiss.
But taste buds still yearn for you
Like our lips have already mingled
and it's your taste they miss.

You appeal to my four sense,
like nobody's done before.
And no matter how much
you irritate me,
my love is only growing more and more.

Very well written and I liked how you intergrated all five senses within this profound poem. Great write. :)

Not bad, but check your spelling and grammar. There's a few little errors here and there. You've painted a nice picture with this, but it doesn't really feel like it's going anywhere. I think you could have done better by not going for the sort of generic devotional format that you've chosen and instead made some more interesting choice, but as it stands it's still a good start.
