And if I Invite You...

And if I Invite You...

A Poem by Marie Anzalone
"

erotic, some language

"

And if I invite you…

to a philosophical debate

in my bedroom, a poetry reading

in my bed?

Time wants to f**k us anyway,

so let’s invite him

and his muses

for a full-blown orgy;

I´ll place my head

between his thighs,

and you, well you know well

what to do between mine.

Make me your canto,

hang me from the ceiling

tell me what to call you tonight.

Whatever the flavor

of the evening

demands of us.

The muses might watch

and learn something from us

or they might just

partake. One never know

with muses. But let’s yes!

explore the meaning

of quantum physics

while you lay trembling

on the sheets, let’s stroll

some paths through Hell

on the way to pay

for some real estate

in Heaven. There is

no better time than tonight;

I will send the invitations

and you- bring the wine

and the restraints.

We’ll make some kind

of toast to everything

the prudes of the world

don’t want us to ponder.

I’ll light the fires

on the hearth,

in the candelabras,

in us, and we’ll

make Time want

to be fucked by us

for once.
