Sirena

Sirena

A Story by Hawkmoth
"

Do mermaids really enjoy luring sailors to their deaths?

"
Your song sways with the tides, rising and falling, carrying with it the cries of a million speckled seagulls; its unbearable beauty fills my eyes with tears. Only now do I realize it is not you I should fear, but myself, intent as I am on finding relief for this sweet agony. And, as my ship crashes against the rocks, I imagine I notice a tinge of sadness in your voice.

You use such beautiful imagery. I love the blend of realism and fantasy. It's seamless.
