loosing you, I lost myself

loosing you, I lost myself

A Poem by hayley-martin

loosing you, I lost myself
you held my hand when others couldn't,
love me even when we knew you shouldn't,
and now your gone to the big city,
swallowed away by ambition and drive,
now days are endless,
Monday's soon forgotten,
What's the point, without you things seem rotten,
I've lost you and I cant believe,
that you would go ahead and leave,
now as you leave you take,
a piece of me by mistake.
