The Game of Self-Destruction

The Game of Self-Destruction

A Poem by haymaker14
"

A metaphorical poem about bullying and suicide.

"

The whispers and the games,

they act like you must play.

When you join,

you are sold away to pain.

Once the time starts,

you want to run away.

They act like its just child’s play

while your life is astray

The torment you

in every way

if you think you are safe,

you better get away

This may just be a metaphor,

but accept it as the truth.

For next time they won’t stay away

they automatically think you want to play

You opened the door,

its sitting slightly ajar

and now?

You are gone.
