If we had no conscience.

If we had no conscience to judge our humanity.

Only if right or wrong was a myth,
Only if our existence gave us a discretion
to ignore innocence or guilt, Would you
inflict pain on your neighbour or would you
just reflect on the thoughts you harbor ?
The world would be beyond reparation as
a lot of people will indulge in unspeakable
acts, Life would be less beautiful and we
wouldn't even exist for a start..........
Our conscience defines us, guiding us
carefully through Life's course.
