A Chapter by J. Viands

Dedicated to C.J. Cherryh and The Threads of Time

Self invasion

Stupid theories

The world is ending

Who do you think you are to toy with this?

Make the end perpetual bliss

Time it lapses move no more

Forgot her face as she went out that door

Threads of time they will destroy

Here today and here no more

End of time is here for sure

Destroyer have we gone too far

What’s this world existing for

Destroyer we have forsaken you

He was here then here no more

Destroyer what shall you have us do

I love the line 'I forgot her face as she went out the door' really stayed with me...

...I am so in love with your first stanza I want to take it to Paris and propose to it in the shadow of the Eiffle Tower...okay?

The tried too hard.

You'll get there...keep up the hard work!

Really like the second stanza! This flows very well and it is not a common topic.

I love the beginning, so simple, so clear, stating it like it was forced onto you. Quite powerful feeling :)

"Time it lapses move no more
Forgot her face as she went out that door"

Your writing is never anything short of amazing. You blow me away with every new piece.

I really enjoyed this. It has good imagery, and the rhythm of rhymes makes it feel almost tense and fast paced, which seems to fit the plot. Great write!
