What made you fall in love?

What made you hear your heart?

Sometimes you smile, sometimes you cry

But still you never give up.

 

What made you wise and strong

though chances are so cruel?

Sometimes you feel alone

But your heart tells there’s someone

What, the song or the music video? I composed it on January 2008 when my sister got married but had a problem with her marriage life, published here at WC on March 6, 2013 and made the video two days ago, uploaded at You Tube so that the notes are heard on here due to the requests of some readers.

Just a suggestion, how about putting some images into the lyrics. Or perhaps, you may make some of the lines appear to be not so literal because some lines seem cliche to me.

Huhu! Hindi nagustuhan ni Sir Joe yung refrain. Back to zero na uli pala. Ayaw naman sabihin yung suggested refrain niya. Basta sabi lang baguhin ang refrain kasi sounds cliche daw. Wala na ko time next week kasi bakasyon ko yun sa Tarlac at Cavite.

If you feel the song is already in its best state, then do no changes to it. I think whatever the lyrics lack in thought or in construction, it is well compensated by the video, much by your voice and by the musicality of the piece.
