Poem 24. SING YOUR SONG AGAIN

Poem 24. SING YOUR SONG AGAIN

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

Where are you now, my muse?

"

The first time I heard your song

I gained that hope in me

That the waiting won’t be long

I’ll speak my mind so free.

You lead me in this way

I thanked you for that gift

But why you’ve gone away?

You left me not with drift.

Did you just lead me here

To start a brand new life?

Or you just felt that fear

Now you can’t Hear My Mind?

I looked back at the page

Where you and I are free

I heard your song with shade

While you heard what’s on me.

It seems now I’m alone

This world won’t be lovely

Please let me hear your song

That song you sang for me.

i hear yah, lola ~ you know it must be great to have a friend who really put your writing career a drive.... maybe because in my case no one ever told me that i should write more... it just comes to me... an inspiration that triggers me to write my own... no one ever knew in my friends before i write - somehow a journal of poems that i kept besides me after i sleep... maybe it was my coping mechanism when the time im on my depressive period... i paint alot of dark things at that time... the era in my life that writing becomes a refuge somehow... so enough about me... this poem almost talks about lost of someone to death... or a love one passing or moving on in his life... ok lang yan lola... kaya mo yan... nadito pa kami :)

Sometimes to music in our heart stops when they're no longer with us. Lovely song here.
