Poem 23. I AM ALONE

Poem 23. I AM ALONE

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

Missing my muse

"

Why did you leave me?

I want to cry. I want to shout.

I want to escape from this world

Where you put me in

You lead me to find this place

Your song guided me through

The valleys I have to take.

But how come you’ve changed your mind?

You left me alone in the dark.

Your song is my lamp

How could you take away that light?

I am alone

Crying

Sobbing.

Looking at my bare feet full of wounds

The cuts are so deep

And I can’t resist to shout in pain

Why did you leave me?

I tried to follow your voice

Your song guided me through

The valleys I have to take

Thorns pricked my skin

Just because I listened to your song.

Your song, where is it?

I want to hear it now.

I am lost. Where are you, my guide?

I am alone.

When can I walk with you again?

Even with the echo of your song…

I read a poem once and it says that people came to our life for a reason, a season and a lifetime. Those people who came for a reason are the ones that would assist and guide us. They came to our life for certain purpose and when such purpose is already accomplished, these individuals may leave. Bear in mind, however, that they never leave us alone in the dark what they taught us would serve as our guiding light. It’s understandable to feel pain, anger and rejection but we must move on. Or perhaps, they just needed space and who knows when they come back they could become part of our life for a lifetime =)

A very sad poem. I could feel the loneliness and need in the words. Questions of love can leave us cold and lonely. I like the flow of thoughts and reason for the poem.Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

why are you sad lola... don't be, it adds more to your wrinkles...hehe... in life we constantly lose a friend... or we always felt those who are in need... in this piece i think you had lost a great deal of friendship... not even sure if its more than friendship as if lovers in secret... ;) (kidding) im just making you smile here... lift up... you'll see this friend again... the world is a very small place... specially with the internet around us....

a very sad piece, a cry of the heart...

Life can be so unfair to many especially lovers who suffer for the sake of love lost trying to hold on to the final dream that they have which is illusive...Wonderful write...:)
