Poem 35. COMPUNCTION

second thoughts

If only I could step back
a few days, or months
when my words only tell
how I smile and laugh...

If only I could be
in that scene of my life
when I choose my buddies
whom I care for and trust...

If only I could tell you
that my heart is pure
and only as a sister
this heart is beating for...

Perhaps you won't be scared
and you'll not let me do
the things I can't hold back
now I am in awe.

Perhaps I won't be crying
or thinking of us too much
or having this regret
of what had gone so fast.

If only I can tell you
and see you face to face
to let you see my heart
now broken into pieces...

If only I can show
that this is my real me
who loves and cares so much
forever I will be...

regrets makes us reflect and sad most of the time...
sometimes it better just to leave it be
and move on... perhaps its for the better...
we might not know, this thing you've lost will come back...

Sabi ko nga kay Gab, my poems are products of my momentary emotions. Minsan, pag may naalala ako, I can make a poem. Pag biglang may ibang emotion ako for the moment, I can make a poem. Kahit ano. Yung emotion ko sobrang galing na muse yun. Favorite ko ang rain and wind...kahit hindi ko emotion...kahit fiction, yun ang madaling makapag-motivate sa akin...Sabi mo, don't overthink. Hayan, I will also tell you...don't overthink. We are writers here. I am a writer. Whatever I writer, the end of the story lies in my pen. LOL.

lol... i am merely responding according to what you've written, so whatever i say it ends of what i just have written... LOL so i am not over thinking, this poem talks about regrets... free yourself from guilt and regrets... ganun lng yung ibig sabihin ng words ko... and the set this person free.. its for the fact na i see a misunderstanding in this friendship and there is fear, why not free her she doesn't understand... diba... but all in all my words is just a reflection of the poem itself...
