Poem 24. A MAN'S DREAM

his plea

My love, you are God's gift to me
From this wretched life you set me free.
Your voice will always be my melody
Your kiss will forever be my remedy.

My only dream is to be with you
Today, tomorrow and my whole life through
Sing me your song, our love's echo
To love you more is what I know.

My only dream's not to walk alone
Have someone else beside my throne
My queen, my lady, you are my home
Until my last breath, until our doom.
