Poem 36. DECOY

In a Man’s Viewpoint

I gasped the sweet scent of her perfume

My eyes widened in the delight displayed before my eyes

She called my name

And like a lamb I bowed down

To taste the sweet flower of desire.

 

We danced and danced

Every moment seems in flame

I thanked the moon and the stars

For being our silent watchers

In the union of our thirsty souls.

 

The moment I looked at her face

I saw her mysterious grin

And I felt there’s something missing in me

My body!

 

I’m now a soul

Held by her inside a jar

And I can do nothing but to shout

But nobody can hear my cry.

I believed in a lie

The face behind those smiles

A bait for my pure heart

Now I am a victim

Of my naiveté

 

Forever.

it goes to show that man is also vulnerable to opposite sex's manipulation. but the thing is, when we are in love we are sometimes willing to be victims of bliss then in the end we cry "FOUL." naivite --- naivete.
