Poem 32. A MOTHER'S PERSPECTIVE

Poem 32. A MOTHER'S PERSPECTIVE

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

I wish...

"

Watching him sleeping,

I have a moment of reflection
Days had gone so fast
I'm looking at a new generation
I know I'm not the best mom
But I hope I can rear him as a good person
When I am old he can be
The one who won't leave me alone.

Interesting write...for me anyway, as it relates to my situation via somewhat darker highways I won't clutter this page with.
I will say this: not only a nice reflection and glimpse into who you are, but a very necessary thought to tuck away in a quickly-accessible draw of the mind, not in the rear of the storage garage. Important piece,

Monumentally touching. Filled with hopes and dreams for the future of your child. Every mother who reads your words will be able to relate....I know I did. Lydi**

Alone , never, your doubt should be tossed out. There in your mind , your heart caressed in your poem, will rock you again even when you are old,
