HEAL ME

HEAL ME

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

One word from You and I know I shall be healed...

"

There's a wound in my heart
Oh, please heal it, Lord
I have so much pains
that I can't carry alone.

There's a scar in my mind
Oh, let me do forget
All the miseries of this
Fragile face and limbs
They hit me in my face
Too many times
And tied my hands
So that I can't move.
Do I have to give up
My belief?
My faith?
My name?

There's a wound in my heart
Oh, please heal it,Lord
Just let me hear
One word from you and I know
I shall be healed.

Familiar for me, and I imagine for many at times in their life when overwhelmed...sometimes we just need that whisper of hope that reminds us that there is purpose, methods to the madness. And still, we are of little use to God until we are humbled, as "the plan" was never meant for just us.

I relate to this, Ate. :) You put my unwritten prayer in appropriate words.

Do I have to give up
My belief?
My faith?
My name?

Those lines seem very perceptive. I like them. :)

Glad I met you, too, baby sis. Okay, good luck to your demo-teaching. God bless you always!
For me, this is more of a prayer than a song or a poem. A prayer of a heart that longst to be healed from the spear that broke her into tiny pieces... I love the music from the piano...

A sincere prayer of healing. Life can be full of pain and hurt and sometimes we need constant healings if not multiple ones...Bravo

This is very timely piece for tomorrow's mass Dhaye. Reminded me of my favorite religious song:
Lead me Lord, lead me by the hand
and let me face the rising sun
comfort me though all the pain that life can bring.....
napakanta tulog ako. Nice Dhaye!

This is an amazing poem
It gives a more meaningful impact that acts as a prayer and yes we do go through things in life that causes our hearts to be wounded, but the almighty picks up every broken piece

Thank You
