LIKE CHINA

LIKE CHINA

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

Inspired by an old song...

"

I held it tighter before
Just because I do not want to lose it

But it is so breakable

Like china in my hands
So I  loosen my hold a little bit
Just enough
To preserve its splendor

For good...

I see this in a different perspective...
like an egg in your hand...
you can squeeze all you want...
and will not break it...
the laws of Physics just won't let you...
yet give it a little room and its very fragile...
give warmth and love --- it will thrive...
nothing last forever...
yet your nurturing will continue...
for another to span the distance...
and give it faith-hope-and love...
and as you did to it...when it was yours...

Love is like a china in our hands. Hold it tight it will break and cuts the palm. Loosen it a bit, it will bloom like a flower before your very eyes...mmmmm... how to treat a woman or a person who we have relationship could also be liken to a china..

What a lovely write this is! Good simile. Yes, we have to treat certain things...and certain people...in our lives with kid gloves. They may "break" otherwise. To know what is precious and fragile in life is so important. Beautifully written. Lydi**

Lydi, you always have those encouraging words. Thank you so much!
I love the paradox of the preciousness of the object contrasting the fragility of it. This would be a wonderful metaphor for many things, such as Love. Well done!
