Author's Note

Recently, I can't write more poems because of writer's block. But a poem of a friend helped me overcome it and became my muse to compose a song out of it with some revisions on the lines.
Again, I'm not an expert keyboard player but I hope I made justice in turning the poem into a lyrical piece.
Credits to Pax's poem. I made some changes in some lines of the original piece to fit with the musical lines.

so simple yet so profound in what is not there....all the materialistic things...just the bare bones of love....for many that is not enough...and that is so sad because that is what will last when all else is gone---

Thank you, Sir J. I just made some revisions in Pax's poem. The words are still his. The most difficult part is to give notes to the Refrain because it should be better than the stanzas.

There isn't anything that two people are able to do at all to reinforce the mood of love in each other. They just come in proximity with each other, and the magic either happens or it doesn’t. Cupid’s arrow either hits or misses his two intended targets. Since this song has rhythm, it’s a song. You should show where the accents, and non-accents are placed on each line. This song is a plea to Cupid for the magic to happen both ways. I would write a love song somewhat like this:

I am

I’m in the mood of love
simply because I am,
and I’m more so
when I’m near you.
Do you feel
the same way?

Oh, I could have extended this song of mine to infinity. When we sing about the mood of love there's no end. Other verses would express what happens during different proximities. Songs need not rhyme, and rhythm may be added after the song is written regardless of where the actual words are accented. What I wrote wasn’t a song-poem, but rather just a song in search of an added rhythm. Love isn't given or taken no more than hate or any other mood is given or taken; a mood just takes place deep inside of each of us without us asking, or it doesn’t. No one orders love around. Love is free to do as she pleases, and she does.

Oh, just go to any library and look up the Psychology of Moods. Have you ever wondered why computers don't have moods? Moods is what makes us human, makes us conscious. Our moods are everything that we really are. Moods are us! You don't need a PHD in Psychology to understand the importanced of moods. You only need to be aware of yourself from moment to moment.
