Dangerous Ground

Dangerous Ground

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

This world

"

We are all children playing
On a very  dangerous ground
Hiding and then seeking
Running and going the round

We are all players praying
That in the end we'll win
The game of every dangerous being
Makes a perfect dangerous spin

Life isn't really  fair, is it?
Come and show me why
The place where you choose to sit
Always shows you a  dark sky

It's true that the world could be
A very dangerous ground to stay
But when a hero hears your plea
You can find the safest way...

The end-rhyme is very consistent. As to the content, you again weave something that touches and reminds us that our everyday challenges and our own darkness could be surpassed. The fact that someone is sent to guide us out of our darkness meant that the world is not truly as wicked or as dark as we thought.

I like the thoughts and places you took me. You create vision of dangerous places where we must learn to live in and survive. I believe we set our table. Leave with dear near or stand fearless, unstoppable. Thank you Dhaye for your outstanding poetry.
