Was I Right?

Was I Right?

A Poem by GEETIKA GARG

Gentle breeze caress my face

Rushing past me

Untying my hair, letting lose

I lift my head

To the skies above

Searching answers for the questions unknown

Seeking the lost me

Somewhere on the road of past

Was I right the times I decided to hold your hand?

Was I right going against the world for you?

Was I just to believe in you?

If I was, then why is my faith shaken

Why am I shattered?

Why my sufferings are more than I can take?

My head is still lifted

The eyes, liquid

The pain increasing

But the silence continues to prevail

And the poor aching persists…

Superb...lines of opening...
questions to self and the world and almighty...
everyone of us lose ourselves somewhere in the life and continue seeking the lost self...

Searching answers for the questions unknown---> helplessness.....

Well versed......
Keep going...
