Witch's Brew

Witch's Brew

A Poem by Muse

Here's a recipe

a dash of pedigree

  lizards and gizzards

mice and lice

blood from the unwed

a spell for the dead

an eye for an eye

some maggots and flies

your child's first tooth

some virginal youth

widow's warm tongue

"her" coal miner's lung

tears of suffering

a boil made pussering

  Julius Caesar

a tsp of fever

serving my hot brew

topped with fresh parsley & sinew.

Chants while stirring in reverse....

I like the poem. Nice twist to the poem with the set-up. You create a nice mix for the witch's brew. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Now I know a bit about casting. Just a bit. So I have to comment on the technical accuracy. You forgot the sage. Sage brings the flaour out a treat. Perhaps one leaf to one cauldron. Maybe a little salt to taste. Then again the salt would obliterate the Majic, but what the hey. Still a decent cuppa.

Wonderful poem me dear, sharp and sweet. Just filled with girly humour. Brilliant job.

I will take a sip... only cause I am careless and love taking unnecessary risks.
