Dear Lucifer

Dear Lucifer

A Poem by Muse

I am well

"thank you"

You asked about the storm

All I can say is

Yes

 it still thunders...

I truly believe that when lightning strikes

it always strikes in the same place twice

There has been no rain

"to stop the fire"

Therefore

My make-believe Eden burned to the ground

The energy of you

"I still feel"

 when nobody's around

No rain to stop the raging inferno, yet, I rein. No thunder to chisel away at the sounds of screaming, but I scream thunderously. No relief from the pain...the misery. Yet, pain & misery are my relief.

This was something else, Muse! Ethereal, sublimely creepy...this was VERY good!

The overall presentation was astounding!

Cast him out Love... Don't invite him in, Face him, yes but when alone find light, focus on that Love...
I am here for you. You will never be alone and you always know how to reach me.
Much Love, sending you all the strength I have to spare...
XOXO

Wow, this is simply amazing. I feel eyes watching in this one. When things are going well we do wonder when it will all go away in a flash.

Sad how ghost taunt what we desire most, the peace and bliss of perfect love. It's all twisted and marred and so f*****g imperfect, but we go on anyway. You know.

i was wrong in my earlier review. It wasn't Rumi, it was Cohan who wrote that...

I believe it was Rumi that said, 'The crack is where the light gets in' :) You are like the rich fertile ground of a charred forest, Muse...Powerful

I love reading you Beth...I really do
You get to the point in so many different ways and without clutter...
I know what you're saying even when you don't want to let us in on the whole experience...
You metaphorically transport us (well at least, me) to far off lands and dreams....and realities...
Honest and sincere emotion, felt from the bottom of your heart...and mine
Another great write Beth
