The torch bearer

The torch bearer

A Poem by Haim Kadman
"

"

The torch bearer

The torch bearer~

crossed a considerable distance,

~passed the torch on;

yawned, and sighed a sigh of relief,

~having got rid at last

of a boring and rather tedious task.
