What makes me great?

A poem about me, because I felt like I'm too negative about myself all the time.

I honestly, don't know

what makes me

great.

Maybe, it's the fact

that I try not to

hate?

I try to be me

more often than

not,

and be there for others,

even when I'm not

sought.

It's kinda instinctual

for me to know something's

wrong,

I want to spread love

and help people be

strong.

I like this, it flows very nicely. Sometimes it's hard to know what really makes us "great" or who we are, sometimes we need other view points in how they view you as a person and add up what you believe you are. Often times it's a hard equation to do lol But I like how you try to be there for others and help them to be strong and such, that is a good trait to have.

I'm glad that you like it! And you make such good points, it is so difficult for me to see any good in myself on a regular basis. I just had to take what I know others have said about me and put it in context, and that's just my personality I guess.

From what I read, the ability to put others above yourself is what makes you great. I admire selfless people. And I'm sure everyone feels that way at least once.

Well, thank you for the review. And I yeah, I try to do what I can to be a better person by putting others before me, but I'm not perfect and it's really difficult, but at least I try, if that holds any weight.
