Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve.

A Poem by holly j

Just passed midnight we snuck through a sleeping house,
Escaped in to the garden where the night was left ours.
We danced beneath the patient moon as it waited for clouds to pass,
We kissed and kissed and kissed and kissed beneath the patient stars.
And all the while the stars looked on and watched our little show
As our bodies lay on the grass with their heads, fingers and toes.
We spoke of silly things barely heard above our drumming hearts,
Then back to bed we went again to sleep until the start.
