The Acorn

The Acorn

A Poem by Irena
"

silly poem

"

When the acorn finally falls,

And death comes to an unsuspecting victim,

Chaos will ensue.

And I’ll be the one who simply smiles,

And says, “I told you so.”

This isn't a silly poem. This is a very mature, clean poem that has a good deal of insight for such a concise piece. I love the line:"And death comes to an unsuspecting victim,". I love this poem and the imagery was solid and clean. Great Job. I look forward to reading more from you.
