At Rainbows End

At Rainbows End

A Poem by humbleServant

At rainbow's end

on earth at last descends

the old pot of gold

the good fortune we've all been waiting for

unfortunately when the throngs arrive

to see the prize

many slink away with wagging heads

so disappointed that the prize

is nothing more than the knowledge

that we all along and long ago possessed

all we need to see to every need of every nation

every people. . .

give up greed,

and share.
