I Think I Can Run Now

I Think I Can Run Now

A Poem by kollaboratyve
"

This was written to, and for, a very godly person who is earmarked for greatness . She took me to the next level, an angel in the flesh, among mortals. Thank you!!

"

I think I can run this race begun !

You took my spirit and bid me come from a place of stagnation my joys' reborn.  Unable to move, weighted by the rays of the sun this burden a grave unformed.

Your voice I heard, you bid me come.

Swept forward by the wind; a key in your hands,

swaying this ole tree by your command.

My purpose unchained, I wonder the cost, of  a mind set free from this unconscious frost.  I think I can run this race begun! Crippled by shattered

hopes of bitter memories, stifle will, chokers of darkness,

unable to dream,

stranded by silence, unable to believe.

You planted your seed of hope in the soil of my soul,

a fruit sprained forth ripened unfold.

From the corridors of heaven God gazed his will in a

chosen earthen vessel an angel given.

I think I can run this race begun!

I think I can run this race begun !

Old things dissolved a new day begins, just beyond

the horizon a new day is born. How shall I

run amid new sight given, to turn broken and miserable

Now,  forward until hopes new light

I think I can run this race begun!

Outstanding!! Wow, what an inspirational piece, and truly just what I needed to read, and in the nick of time! Funny how that works.. :)

We've been given the power, the gift, to soar with angels -- to run this race -- from beginning to end. It is man -- negative forces -- that rob us of that gift. Actually, we hand it over, and can just as easily -- snatch that puppy back!! Just don't run too fast. Take the time to smell a few roses along the path.

Very well written, with a nice upbeat flow. Great energy!

A true pleasure to read ... thank you :)

The use of the language is unique. The poem carries a certain character that is distinct from the rest. I like the "hopefulness" and "gratitude" expressed in the lines.

When I am reading it, I can almost hear Music. This poem is like a song with the chorus:

" I think I can run this race begun!
I think I can run this race begun!
I think I can run this race begun!

Amen! The race has begun and you can finish it indeed!

Great line, beautiful words to insire hope and determination to over come what obstacles may befall your path.

Your words flow like a gentle waterfall. Nice job.

And very inspirational? I loved what I've read. No words from me could ever justify this wondrously gratuitous poem! A blessing indeed, to have met the said person!
