Dear Ana,
Do you remember that boy?
The one I was talking about
Well he's gone now
forever
He made me choose
It was him or you
He lied to me Ana
Told me I was beautiful
and perfect
He lied to me
LIES
He made me doubt you
So I left you
I'm very sorry
You see I've changed
I've gotten bigger
fatter
rounder
The scale is tipping
Help me be me again
Help me get back to myself
I don't like this new girl
Take me back
I'll do whatever you say
Just take me back
And save me from myself

Oh my..

That took my breath away. The way you said save me from myself kinda just brought it into the terms of like, the bigger you are or the bigger you become the more you stray away from you.

I getcha, ive starved myself before, cant say I'm proud but ive made mistakes ya know?

I get it. I absolutely get it. I'm pretty much over that stage in my life (after spending 3 months in eating disorder rehab for an almost heart attack from not eating) I've learned that I need to move on. Although I still have those cravings to go back to it some days, hence, where this poem came from.

Its good to know that someone gets you. People tell me I'm not fat but there are girls that are just so skinny!! Sometimes it feels hard to measure up. I wrote a poem called counting calories, I would love if you could check it out

No. Ana = Anorexia Bulimia = Mia (they are like slang names for them) thats why there are stanzas in there like "I've gotten bigger - rounder- fatter". Try to read it again, this time keep in mind, its about an anorexic girl who had a boyfriend that made her turn away from that life style or her "best friend", since anorexics have such an attachment to their disorder, and then left her, and now she realizes that she doesn't like who she's become so she wants to become anorexic again to help her fix it. Dependency issues so to speak...

and another example was my comment below the poem "pro ana" which means "for anorexia" ... google it. Pro ana is a strong movement and google would help you understand

Oh sorry. I am not up on the current American slang. But anorexia is not something you should be for. It is a terrible thing. Everyone should love the person they are. I feel sad now.
