Scarred For Life

Scarred For Life

A Poem by zaneybear

I stand in your room, alone and nude,

right where you left me,

clothes on the floor, scattered at my feet.

Is this what you wanted to see?

Me alone and desperate, shaking from the cold?

Your hand's warm to the touch,

caressing my body in a careless manner.

You don't care, never have, never will.

I want to say no,

but I'll lose you if I do.

You gave me this ultimatum,

now you're making me choose.

Choosing between my innocence,

our friendship, you as a whole.

I give in to peer pressure as you say "let's smoke this bowl"

I say I'm a virgin and underage,

you give me that smirk,

that makes me think it's all okay.

I close my eyes and pray for the end,

Finally it's over, you've had your fun.

As we smoke a bowl, and light a stoage,

you assure me it's all okay and nothing will change.

I start to doze, as I hear those words,

the one's you say to the others,
"I love you, Hunter"

just customized to fit my name.

You hear my cries in the middle of that night,

you think i'm okay but I'm really scarred for life.

It's shocking how this happens every day. Peer pressure is never ok.
