Angels

Angels

A Poem by Hyorin

The desecrated land where angels fear to tread. The crimson red ground was thirsty, for blood and water alike. Blood is no different from water. Blades and words both led to the same ending, to sate the insatiable thirst of the forbidden soil. To sin enough to dye the ground a resplendent red, where knives took no heed in differentiating statuses - the rich and the poor were one and the same. We were only human.

Very nice descriptions and use of words like 'desecrated' and 'insatiable'.
