The Angels

The Angels

A Poem by ANR

He's blue
his body lifeless.
Tell me has
his soul really left us?
I pray
for a heartbeat
But today
the angels must not owe me...

He's dead
its so obvious.
Almost as bad,
that his heart has left us.
And I pray
for closure.
But today
the angels just grow colder...

He's blue
he's not breathing.
My heart keeps on
searching for some meaning.

And if the angels owe me one
someday
maybe then they're hear me pray
then they're hear me pray but
not today...

Very sad but beautiful poem. All we can do is hope to leave future hay memories of us for them. They are always watching us. c:
