Chapter 4

Neji/Tenten

It was late at night. Neji was about to go home when she was Tenten sitting on a bench reading a book. She was alone. He walked up to her and sat down next to her. She looked up from her book and smiled at him

"Hi" she said

"Hey" neji said

"Whats up?" Tenten said

"I... uh saw you alone." he said shyly, "And i wanted to give you some company"

"Thank you" she relpied, blushing a bit, "But i was just about to head home....."

She got up slowly and put her book in her bag.

Neji got up quickly too.

"I can walk you there" he said

"Sure" Tenten replied

They began walking. It was a awkward silent walk.

Finally they arrived at Tentens small apartment.

"Well, this is it." she said

She started to walk away when Neji grabbed her by the arm.

"Wait!" he said

Tenten turned around, confused

"i....." Neji began

Tenten gave him a confused expression

Neji leaned in and kissed her.

"Goodnight" he said. Then he dissapeared

"Night" tenten said with a smile

Neji and tenten stood on the roof Tentens house. Neji was leaning on his hands, legs outstreched and apart. Tenten was between his legs, leaning back against his chest.

"Isnt the whole Sakura and Sakue thing so adorable?" tenten said

"Hm?" neji said

"Well how he risked his life just to come back to the one person he loves" tenten said

"Yeah" neji replied

"Can you check up on them?" tenten asked, "They were supposed to pick us up half an hour ago."

"Sure"

Neji consentrated hard on Sakura and Saskues location. He saw them and sakura was staring off into the distance. To a tree. Neji consentrated and looked to see. There he saw one of the Acaski.

He snapped back.

"We gatta move, now!" he said

He and tenten were up in a second. They ran twoards the front gates.

"What did you see?" tenten asked

"One of the Acaski!" he replied

They sped up. They stopped on the roof of a building. They saw Sakura holding onto the mysterious man. She grabbed one hand on the hat the other on the cloak. With one quick move she ripped them off.

Tenten gasped

"It cant be!" She said

Tenten/Neji pairing is a bit of a stretch, but you definately made it work. This makes me want to watch Naruto again. Gawd, I haven't seen it in years...
