I will not forgive, I cannot forget

I will not forgive, I cannot forget

A Poem by Harlow Aaron
"

This poem is about fighting for it all when someone wants to see you fall.

"

Try to destroy me, you will not win

Try to tear me away from him

I'll fight for him til' the end.

I will not forgive, I cannot forget

The way you tired to tear me down without regret

How can you call me friend

When all you want is to see me sad?

See me cry, crumble and watch me go mad

How is this sane at all

When all you want is to see me fall?

Lines 4 and 8 are particularly good. I certainly feel the emotion that you're expressing here.

It make me feel betrayal, not a good feeling at all. And I understand how you feel I would probably feel the same way. Good poem. Thank you for sharing. Debileah

I, as well as the previous reviewer, also sense a bit of anger and determination to break through walls instead of letting them break you.

Brilliant piece

I get a feeling of anger; enough to want to fight back with all that I have within me

This is a powerfully written poem with a great deal of emotion and passion in each word

The poem takes the reader quickly by the throat and holds on to them until the end

Well written and a wonderful read
