I Just Don't Understand

You still have feelings for an Ex boyfriend that ignores you and you do the same to him.

It's sad how I walk by knowing that I'm thinking about
The one thing that I'm trying to ignore. 
It's sad how though I don't understand why I'm doing what I'm doing,
Or what's going on now,

I still go along with it. 
I follow the way I'm being treated
Though it makes no sense whatsoever. 
It's not like I cheated,
It's not like someone was physically,
Or mentally abused. 
No one did anything wrong.
It,
We, 
Just crumbled like a soggy cookie I guess. 
But I don't understand why it's got to be like this. 
And I don't understand why I still care. 
Because according to the rules,
It shouldn't matter to me. 
But it does.
And for the life of me,
I can't find one good distraction,
Be it a person,
Or a hobby,
To take my mind off of it. 
So I wrote a poem to get it out,
Just so the words wouldn't end up coming through my mouth.
