Nothing's Changed

"Realizing that you picked up right where you left off"

I missed this community.

I thought as I read over the entirety of my poems.

They caused me to smile

And I felt that every once and a while

My poems had the ability to touch someone

I used my inner voice to create something 

Something that people could read and identify with

Well, I guess that's one way to think about it.

Although it's been a few years 

Since I wrote a poem to be viewed by my fellow peers

I'll be the first to admit,

My writing is still s**t.
