A-L-I-C-E

First poem. For my girlfriend Alice :)

  A is for angel, which is what you are in my eyes.

  L is for love, which is the thing you show to everyone. 

  I is for I love you, the three words I know you will never stop saying.

  C is for calm, the feeling I get when I am with you.

  E is for everything, which is what you mean to me,

I don't know what I don't like about this line...I think it's because it had a slightly sarcastic touch to it? Yeah, I think that's it, like you're annoyed with her telling you that she loves you? I sure do hope that that's not the case :)

There's no such thing as a mistake in poetry, or for any art form for that matter. Unless you mean grammatically and even then theres no such thing as a mistake. Point being no you did not make any mistakes.

Well it's been a while since I've seen this type of poetry, it is refreshingly subtle and ripe with feeling, great emotion and balanced wording, well done, good read.
