Divine Intervention

Divine Intervention

A Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
"

trying to find your way through life.

"

Wandering aimlessly on the face of the earth,

uncertain where my life is going.

I ask myself the questions.

Am I heading in the right direction?

or is this the wrong path?

I sense an aurora around me.

I am astonished.

The encounter leaves me breathless.

A presence so strong engulfs me.

Eyes are watching, scrutinizing my every move.

Gazing around I see no one.

A touch of a gentle hand caresses my back,

it is calming, but yet sends a shiver down my spine.

Swiftly I turn to look, but no one is around.

I hear a tender tone, a whisper in my ear ,

from unseen lips.

The words are vague.

Pure exhaustion over takes me.

Unshed tears glisten my eyes.

My steps grow wobbly.

I trip and fall.

all strength is gone.

I contemplate my next move.

Fear holds me down.

Suddenly the presence is back.

The eyes,

The caress,

The whisper,

ministering to me.

A magnificent, divine feeling surges through me.

I bask in the comfort it provides.

Looking toward heaven I.....

embrace His touch,

listen to His voice.

Eyes on my Heavenly Father,

I take hold of His hand.

I stand in His footsteps.

His love encircles me,

giving me the strength and assurance to move on.

I smile, knowing that God is crafting my way.

A
truly inspirational, I was deeply touched
Spectacular poem esp the ending

This is a great poem explaining a spiritual encounter with the Father. The only advice I have is capitalize father and his. When you are talking about God it should be capitalized. The flow of this poem is very smooth and it overwhelms the soul to read about this experience. It is one of those magical feelings. Almost indescribable to others.

A beautiful and positive poem. The poem told a story of trying to find purpose and the real purpose was always near and watching. A very good ending to a outstanding poem of belief and hope.

A very touching piece. Reminds me of a couple of experiences I've had over the years. Nicely done.

Do me a favor? Tell Mr. He who is called I am to send some divine touch like you describe to me..I can use it.
You catch the tripping and being wobblt part. We can't always swing it ourselves. Not because of weakness, just becaus ethe load gets too big.

Nice work
